Interest is awakened for jazz related Grammy Award-winners, among the winner is the German-American orchestrator Claus Ogerman. A legend who since the sixties worked with captains like Sinatra and Streisand, from João Gilberto to Antonio Carlos Jobim and from Oscar Peterson to George Benson and Jan Akkerman.Ogerman is not in the business anymore as an orchestrator but he had made an exception for CD’s from Diana Krall. This disposition for her latest Bossa Nova album Quiet Nights was crowned last week with a Grammy Award.
