Friday Febr. 2nd an old tradition was restored. Supported by THE HAGUE JAZZ the GOLDEN TULIP BEL AIR HOTEL presented the first of a series of jazz-nights in their cellar-bar THE EMBASSY.
Top musicians Thijs van Leer, Boris Vanderlek and Wil Sophie treated the numerous visitors with a broad selection of music, allowing each of them to expose their individual skills as well as their capability to work as a team. The enthusiastic audience fully appreciated these delicacies.
Trumpet virtuoso Jacky T, at this occasion supported by DJ Max, showed once again, why she is so widely appreciated and Thijs van Leer could not resist the temptation to start a musical “fight” with Jacky, resulting in surprising and exciting interaction between the two professionals.

The GOLDEN TULIP BEL AIR HOTEL played their role as host perfectly. A very pleasant atmosphere was created. In combination with the great music the many visitors could look back at an “old-fashioned” jazz-night.
For the rest quite a lot of the visitors could not resist the music DJ Max played and they enjoyed the after-party until late in the morning.
Friday March 2nd BEL AIR presents the next edition of the Bel Air Nights. Martin Verdonk’s LatinJazz V.S.O.P. will perform.
DJ Jen Min Lau will take care of the after-party.
