The Hague is the jazz capital of the Netherlands. Not only that, it’s one of the places to be. This historical city hosts the prestigious Gemeentemuseum, the proud owner of world’s largest collection of Mondria(a)n paintings. One of world’s largest paintings, a great view on Scheveningen beach and harbour, is on display at the Panorama Mesdag, and there are many more important museums, attractions etc. within short distance of the festival venue World Forum Convention Center. The old fishermen’s harbour of Scheveningen, with a huge casino, is within ten minutes driving distance, and the prestigious shopping street Frederik Hendriklaan (‘the Fred’) is only minutes away; walking distance.
